Русские очень гордятся своей находчивостью. Поколениями не имея возможности пользоваться достижениями мировой цивилизации и с комфортом решать бытовые вопросы, мы научились находить выход из любой ситуации. И чем нелепей она в контексте 21 века, тем блистательней выход.
Russians are really proud of their ingenuity. Having no opportunity to use advances of civilization and to solve domestic chores comfy by generations we managed to find a way out of any kind of situation. The more awkward it is in the 21st century the more profound it is.

Всё началось с того, что у нас появились игрушки. Днём ими играли, а вечером их нужно было куда-то убирать. Решили временно (пока все игрушки помещаются) выделить коробку ДРЁНА IKEA. Такие бывают разных расцветок, некоторые с крышками. Наша хорошо вписалась в интерьер, вмещала все игрушки и даже часть подушек. Благодаря клапанам в роли ручек удобно передвигать. Варе и Льву во время игр нравится сидеть внутри - готовое "ку-ку!" Если нужно кого-то "поголопопить" я застилаю внутри коробки непромокаемую пелёнку.
It all started when we got toys. It was played with at daytime, but it had to be tidied up in the evening. We decided temporarily (till all the toys fit it) to apply the box DRÖNA IKEA. They can be of different colors, some are with the lids. Ours was perfectly ingrained in the environment, hold all the toys and some pillows. Thanks to the handles – it can be shifted easily. Varia and Lev like to sit inside while playing – ready hide-and-seek play. If I need any of them naked I put the cloth at the bottom.
Эти неспешные находки пришлись к стати, когда Варя и Лев стали весить столько, что я не могла их обоих одновременно сносить по лестнице в прогулочных блоках. Челночный метод больше не подходил, так как дети подросли и уже не засыпали как раньше в люльках, стоило их туда положить. А бегать туда-сюда по лестничным пролётам между орущей Варей и недовольным Львом не особо приятно. Сейчас на прогулку одного (Варю, как более протестующего) фиксируем в прогулочном блоке, а Льва (хорошо сидит и держится) несём на руках.
Одетые Лев и Варя в кроватке, я одеваю пальтои дотушёвываю бронзер. Варю засаживаем в прогулочный блок и паркуем в прихожей. Льва берём на руки... и как-то вот так обуваемся и завязываем шнурки. Я пару раз сажала Льва рядом на пол и быстро обувалась. Лев не бьётся в истерике как Варя, просто сидит и вероятность стукнуться головой (хоть и в капюшоне) о кафельный пол мала, но не исключена. Тогда я вспомнила о коробке. В одной из таких коробок хранятся вещи для прогулок: одеваемся, освобождаем коробку, засаживаем в неё Льва.
Lev and Varia both packed in their bed, I’m putting on the coat and blending the bronzer. Varia is in the carriage and being parked in the anteroom. Lev is carried in hands… then you manage to put on and to lace the shoes somehow. I used to put Lev on the floor several times and managed to put on the shoes very fast. Lev doesn’t play tantrum as Vaia does, he is sitting quietly and the possibility to hit his head(though his cloth has a hood) is of low probability, but is not improbable. The idea about the box came into my mind. One of the boxes holds all necessary equipment for our walks: get dressed, empty the box, put Lev into it.
Единственное, такой вариант: The only thing, it won’t work:
- не подойдёт таким гиперактивным детям как Варя.
- является временным.
-with intensively active children like Varia.
- is temporary.
Коробку можно заменить на корзину. Она более устойчивая. В ней можно катать карапуза по квартире. Её можно грызть. Или на ванночку. И коробку, и корзинку, и ванночку - как видите - можно задействовать в играх.
The box can be replaced by a basket. It’s more stable. You can drive your child in it in your home space. It can be nibbled. It can be replaced by baby bath. All these, the box, the basket and the baby bath, as can be seen, can be applied in games.

These findings came in handy when Varia and Lev weighted so much I couldn’t carry them both at once in the blocks. Back-and-forth diplomacy ceased to work, toddlers became kids and didn’t want to sleep in baby bassinet as long time ago as they had been asleep in the same moment you put them to bed. Running up and down in the stair flight is not really pleasant being torn between Varia playing tantrum and annoyed Lev.
